A planned lateral movement relocates the structure to the new alignment or setback using synchronized jack-and-rail systems. Temporary steel staging, cribbing, and continuous level checks keep the frame stable while the structure slides to the designed position.

- Staging: jack points, steel beam grid, crib stacks, and guide‑rails with safety bracing
- Shift: synchronized push/pull in small increments with real‑time monitoring of levels and stresses
- Set & Plinth: new foundation at final position, anchoring, waterproof plinth, and reconnection of utilities
